pupsafe is Australian owned and operated by dog lovers.  We specialise in products that help keep you and your beloved pets safe. Our products are developed through extensive research and trials to be both purposeful, effective and humane.

Introducing the pupalarm

One of the best things in life is spending quality time with our dogs. Whether it be running leash free on the beach, walking together in parks or sitting at a cafe sharing snacks. Unfortunately most of us have experienced a situation where an unfriendly, over enthusiastic or assertive dog has approached causing you and/or your pet to feel unsafe.

This is where the pupalarm comes in!

Our handheld personal dog safety device is specifically designed to use sound safely and effectively to deter unwanted behaviour.

There are three optional sounds which are audible for both humans and dogs.  In consultation with experts in the field of dog audiology, these are set at a safe decibel level and playback time so that they will not cause harm or discomfort to a dogs sensitive ears. 

Upon activation of the pupalarm, most dogs will move away from the sound or at least become distracted and lose focus.  The sound will also alert other people to the situation who may be able to assist.

Not just for pet owners

The pupalarm can be used by anyone who is concerned about dogs approaching, not just pet owners.  It is useful for people who may be exposed to dogs in everyday life, for example children walking home from school, senior citizens running errands, cyclists, hikers, beach goers and anyone participating in outdoor activities.  Individuals whose work requires them to visit homes in which dogs may be present, including delivery drivers, postal officers, tradespeople, home care workers and gardeners may also find the pupalarm beneficial. While enjoying the environment and going about your daily lives, we hope that the pupalarm gives you piece of mind with the knowledge that this little device may be needed one day. But let's hope not.
